KERR’S POLICY: Our modern nut free manufacturing facility houses some of the most sophisticated state-of-the-art confectionery equipment in the world. We seemlessly combine a wealth of experience with original recipes to produce a wide variety of confections which include Toffees, Caramels, Hard Candies, Lollypops, Crunches, Filled Candies, Nougats, Panned Candies and No Sugar Added candy. We use only the finest ingredients in our confections, such as, real butter in our Butterscotch, milk in our Toffee and fruit purée in our Filled Bonbons. Kerr’s Toronto manufacturing facility is proud to be NUT FREE. In 1996 we made the decision to produce only nut free products in this facility. While we do continue to have a few products produced in other facilities which may have come in contact with nuts; our packages will indicate this. Currently only applies to Jube Jubes and Jelly Beans.
In addition, to eliminating nuts from our Toronto facility we have also implemented strict procedures and policies to ensure that our suppliers and employees conform to our new corporate objective.
